They are described as complexion enhancers that give a luminous glow and packed with good-for-you moisturising ingredients. The autograph makeup range is brand spanking new to Marks & Spencers and is currently 25% off, which means they retail for £7.10 each. They are available to purchase online in two shades; white and bronze.
I have to say, Im pleasantly surprised! The bronze shade is really beautiful, a golden shimmery bronzy colour. Be warned, it's a little on the dark side which makes it ideal for medium, tan and dark complexions. It gives that sun-kissed J.Lo glow, try adding a drop to your foundation for a subtle glow or if you're feeling brave place it on the top of your cheekbones. The white liquid illuminator leaves more of a natural / dewy / pearlescent glow, the kind you get after a really good facial. Similar to to MAC strobe cream, but for a fraction of the cost. Best used under foundation for an iridescent, brightening effect.
Swatches - Left: Bronze Right: White
Taking the products, the cost and the packaging into consideration; I'd give both the liquid illuminators 8 out of 10. They are comparable if not better than their MAC alternatives and not to mention much better priced. They both give a sheer glow that lasts most of the day, but bare in mind they do rub off easily. The products themselves do all the work and give a catwalk worthy sheen to the skin.
All in all, the autography makeup range is great quality as well as suitably priced, so head over the the Marks & Spencers website - it's well worth the look (plus you get 25% off)! Next week's post is going to be all about brows, so stay tuned! There will also be also be a giveaway. Excited much?
